The Gospel, Mission, and the Church

At this year's Gospel Coalition Conference, Moody hosted a discussion between Matt Chandler, Kevin DeYoung, Jonathan Leeman and Trevin Wax on Gospel, Mission, and the Church.  At almost an hour, it is a little longer than most of the things I post here, but it is, in my opinion, a conversation that helps us greatly in the definition of our categories.

I watched this a few days back after it became available...and like you, I found it very helpful and interesting.

I've got to save some $$ and sign up for one of these conferences. Torn between T4G, GC, and Ligonier.

Yeah, JB. I went to TGC in 2009 and it was a great experience.

The cost can be prohibitive (especially when you can simply watch the talks online for free), but there is great value in being there in my opinion. Not only is there the opportunity for great fellowship, but (at least at TGC) you walk out with a ton of free books. The problem for me is not so much the cost of the conference, but the cost of travel and lodging. If only they held these conferences in Michigan!
