It's funny, but I think it was set up. If you watch very closely, and you can see this well from the side angle, on the last step she takes before falling in she lifts her leg over the stone wall to avoid striking her shin on the stone. That isn't how folks usually trip and fall over low objects.
Second reason...people don't record the sounds that occur in the video room when watching security video. That cements this as a set up.
Watch closely and you'll see it.
When I originally saw it, it definitely crossed my mind that it might be a put on. Either way...I still thought it was pretty funny.
