Have you ever had a really tough decision? A decision you prayed about and agonized over as you sought to determine God's will for your life? Perhaps you wondered, What do I need to do to be "in the center of God's will?"
If you've ever found yourself in this type of situation, then let me make the following suggestions:
- If you are in Mid-Michigan, go to the Finding God's Will Conference on January 22 at Riverview Church in Holt, Michigan. Speakers will include Garry Friesen, Kevin DeYoung and Noel Heikkinen, and they will help take some of the mystery out of discerning God's will.
If you can't make the conference, check out Kevin's book, Just Do Something: How to Make a Decision Without Dreams, Visions, Fleeces, Impressions, Open Doors, Random Bible Verses, Casting Lots, Liver Shivers, Writing in the Sky, Etc. It is a wonderfully helpful work that I have probably shared with more people than any other book. I can't recommend it highly enough.
