"A sermon without Christ as its beginning, middle, and end is a mistake in conception and a crime in execution....When we preach Jesus Christ, then we are not putting out the plates, and the knives, and the forks, for the feast, but we are handing out the bread itself....[Let us] preach Christ to sinners if we cannot preach sinners to Christ....I wish that our ministry -- and mine especially -- might be tied and tethered to the cross."
Charles Spurgeon

Wonderful. And that's the preaching that's blessed to souls - food for the believer - food that leaves us wanting ever more of our precious Saviour.
I listened to a sermon recently by Dr David Murray on Christ in Creation - who says Christ isn't woven through the *whole* of Scripture?!
Thanks for this
Anne
Thanks so much for your feedback, Anne. We were very much blessed at my church to have Dr. Murray (as well as Dr. Joel Beeke) with us at our conference this weekend. The audio for the conference is in the process of being uploaded as we speak. I will be posting a link to it on my blog shortly.
Thanks again for following the blog and please know that your comments are welcomed!
